Account types

Four flavours of account run the app. Here's what each one can and can't do. Coaches seated by a club are covered by the club's subscription — they only pay if they run independently. Organisations can register as a school, an accredited club, or an amateur club — all three behave the same once approved.

Coach

Free if club-seated · paid if independent

Free if club-seated
£12.50/year if independent
Can do
  • Create up to 3 age groups, plus squads and players within them (independent)
  • Create, schedule and score matches — for their own squads and for any club that's seated them
  • Assign match roles (scorer, sub, medic)
  • Send player reports and review player videos
  • See squads, planned fixtures, live matches and results for every club that's seated them — alongside their own
Can't do
  • Invite or seat other coaches (that's the club owner)
  • Manage billing for clubs that seated them
  • Remove themselves from a club seat (the club owner releases seats)
  • Once seated by a club, the coach can add and score matches for that club; Manage/Dashboard merge all seated clubs into one view.
  • Seated coaches pay nothing — the club's subscription covers them.
  • Coaches seated at 2+ clubs get their independent account auto-free too.
Club owner

School, RFU/WRU/SRU club, or amateur club

£49/yr Standard
£99/yr Premium
Can do
  • Everything a coach can do, club-wide
  • Invite and seat coaches for the club
  • Invite club members (parents, supporters)
  • Define age groups, squads, and default match roles
  • Publish match reports for the whole club
Can't do
  • Take seats in other clubs as an owner
  • Be seated as a coach at another club (account type is exclusive)
  • Exceed their tier's coach seat cap (24 Standard / 50 Premium)
  • Sign up as a School (school or academy programme), an Accredited Club (RFU/WRU/SRU registered) or an Amateur Club (non-accredited / social) — all three get the same admin powers.
  • Independent sides aren't a sign-up org type — they exist only as something free members can follow.
  • Club Standard funds up to 24 coaches; Club Premium up to 50.
Approval gate

All account types must be approved before they can write data (create matches, score, invite, upload). Brand-new signups can read but not write until an admin or the club owner approves them.
